'"Don't stop learning even though you have left school!"
Those words of advice to graduates came from Barbados' adopted son Sir Peter Moores, who was conferred an honorary Doctor of Letters by the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus during the graduation ceremony in October 2008.
"Just don't leave your tenacity and dedication behind on the campus when you step over into that wider world... things don't always work out the way you had envisaged. So my first piece of advice would be, always be prepared to learn especially from your mistakes and difficulties, because these are often the most valuable lessons you can have," Sir Peter said in his address.
